    Stuart Wax (Producer, Music Supervisor)

    Stuart is a music industry veteran with over 30 years experience directing the successful careers of recording artists and high profile songwriters whose music has been included on the multi-platinum albums of Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, and more. He is Founder and President of Midnight Music Management, a full-service artist management company originally based in Los Angeles. In addition to his management services, Stuart was one of the founders of the Happy Minyan of Los Angeles, and it’s President for the first fifteen years.

    Stuart produced the first Jewish Music Tour of the Soviet Union in 1989 featuring Shlomo Carlebach. Stuart also acts as an independent marketing consultant to major labels and entertainment producers. Stuart was the co-producer of the Bill Graham Chanukah Menorah Annual Concert in the late 80’s - early 90’s, and produced the first Rock for Shabbos at the Wetlands with Peter Shapiro in 1994. While managing Marty Balin in 1989, Stuart had the opportunity to work with Bill Graham on the Jefferson Airplane reunion tour.

    Stuart Wax received a masters degree in Social Work,community organization in 1980 and has been involved in the entertainment world ever since.

    In 1982, while living in Israel, Mr. Wax founded Sugar Magnolia Enterprises. The first licensed music merchandising company in the Middle East, Sugar Magnolia created licensed original T-shirts for the local and tourist markets. In 1985 Mr. Wax sold his merchandising line to 'Mr. T,' then the largest T-shirt producer in the region. He then entered into a marketing partnership with Alan Gittler the inventor of the 'Gittler' Guitar. The 'Gittler' is the only musical instrument ever permanently displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. While introducing this guitar to the world, Mr. Wax was able to secure the endorsements of Nils Lofgren on the Bruce Springsteen 'Born in the USA' World Tour and Paul Pesco lead guitarist on Madonna's 'Like A Virgin' Tour.

    Upon his return to the US, Mr. Wax settled in Los Angeles where he was immediately recruited as creative director for the music publishing division of Lorimar Telepictures. After a successful tenure, Warner Brother's Pictures acquired Lorimar giving Mr. Wax the opportunity to take his contacts and experience to his own Management Company. While managing Marty Balin of the Jefferson Airplane in 1989, Stuart had the opportunity to be a co-producer on the Jefferson Airplane reunion tour Starting with such rock 'n roll luminaries as Marty Balin and The Jefferson Airplane, Midnight Music Management had an immediate impact on the artist management scene. During the 30 years since Midnight's inception, Stuart has directed the successful careers of numerous recording artists and high profile songwriters while also serving as an independent marketing consultant to major labels and music supervisor on several Hollywood productions.

    Stuart directed the careers for the first 7 years of recording artists Evan and Jaron. He negotiated lucrative recording and publishing contracts with Island Records, Columbia Records and EMI Publishing. Midnight Music Management, Inc. continues to set a high standard in personal artist management.
